INDICATION
Treatment of bacterial disease sensitive to Ceftiofur
1) Swine : Treatment of respiratory diseases (Swine pleuropneumonia, Pneumonic Pasteurellosis, Bacterial Pneumonia) caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Streptococcus suis.
2) Cattle : Treatment of bovine respiratory disease (shipping fever, pneumonia) caused by Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Haemophilus somnus.
DOSAGE
1) Swine : Dissolve 1g of Paxxcell in 20 ml of distilled water for injection and administer 0.6-1ml reconstituted Paxxcell sterile solution(30~50mg as Ceftiofur) per 10kg body weight, intramuscularly. Administer one injection per day for 3 consecutive days.
2) Cattle : Dissolve 1g of Paxxcell in 20 ml of distilled water for injection and administer 1 ml reconstituted Paxxcell sterile solution (50mg as Ceftiofur) per 50kg body weight, intramuscularly. Administer one injection per day for 3 consecutive days. If the symptoms don’t improve, administer up to 5 days.
